In the beginning...
The Neighborhood Bible Study Ministries (NBSM) was organized April 20, 1984, in the home of Pastor "Bob" and Sis. Rosie Drake.
Realizing the needs created by the breakdown of the family structure, God pointed out the only way to reconstruct what the devil had left in shambles. Home Bible Study, the Word of God, His will, and principles needed to be reestablished in homes where parents and children had fallen victims of an environment which would ultimately lure them away from God. God is the stabilizing factor (His person, presence, and power) in life and must be reinserted into family life.
The NBSM began holding prayer and Bible study meetings on Friday nights in the homes of residents throughout the Houston area; serving God's people with His Word of hope and inspiration.
